This section is intended to support faculty who are interested in teaching online and hybrid courses. It provides guidance on every aspect of distance education, from best practices in online pedagogy, to help with technology issues and tools. It also contains information on where faculty can find free online materials to use in their courses. Explore the links in this section to learn more and get started.
In addition to using this support site, faculty who would like assistance with developing an online or hybrid course can also choose to make an appointment for a one-to-one consultation with the FCPE’s Distance Learning Specialist, Susan Lambert, by calling (516) 877-4225 or by emailing slambert@adelphi.edu. The FCPE also offers a menu of ongoing workshops for faculty on distance learning, Moodle, and other instructional technologies.
