From a technical standpoint, this seminar was more advanced than any previously attempted for faculty. It was felt however, that many professors were ready to go beyond basic web page design, and tackle something that would be both challenging and useful to their teaching at Adelphi. The professors received a good deal of assistance from both student and staff educational technologists, which kept down the frustration levels while maximizing project results. It was obvious from comments and post- survey results that all participants greatly appreciated their “multimedia experience” and wished to continue with their projects during this semester. The FCPE will likely rework and expand this seminar, and present it again in the summer 2002 semester.
