About FCPE| Moodle Features

Moodle courses have a three-column layout, with administrative and course activity blocks on the left and right sides. These will allow instructors to access student information, grades, schedule and set alarms for upcoming events and due dates in a built-in calendar and more.

All course materials, resources and activities will appear in the center of the page organized in course blocks, also called modules. They are usually organized by week or topic. Course modules can also be organized into different themes or categories to suit many different teaching styles. Examples of such categories are course overview, instructor information, course documents, assignments, multimedia learning resources, activities, discussion forums, online quizzes and more. Instructors can choose to hide course blocks or individual items to align their availability with the course schedule. Items may also be moved to a different course location or removed completely at the instructors command.
