In Respondus:

1. Start Respondus and under Current Personalityselect IMS QTI 1.1+.
2. Click on File > Open (top menu) and open the question bank you have saved.
3. Click on Preview and Publish.
4. Click on Save QTI XML File from the left-hand menu options.
5. Under Select Preferences, choose: Points as decimal numbers and QTI XML Zip file using IMS content packaging 1.1.3
6. Click on Save As and save the zip file to your desktop.

In Moodle:

1. Log into Moodle and access your course.
2. Under the Administration panel, choose Questions.
3. Be sure to create a Category and then click on the Import tab (for directions on creating categories, see above).
4. Select the category you created to import the questions into.
5. Under File Format, select respondusqti.
6. Click Browse and select the zip file you exported to your desktop.
7. Click on Upload this file.
8. Now your questions are uploaded to the selected category and you can add them to your quiz body.

In ExamView:

1. Start ExamView and open your question bank.
2. Click on File > Export and select Blackboard 5.x.
3. Enter a name for your question bank and make sure it is saved as a zip file.

On your PC:

1. Go to where the file was saved and right click on it.
2. Under Open With, select Compressed (zipped) Folders.
3. From the main menu at the upper left side of the window, select Edit > Select All.
4. Then, select Edit > Copy to copy them (alternatively you can use CTRL + C).
5. Go to your desktop, right click and Paste the files

In Moodle:

1. Log into Moodle and use the steps on page 2 to create a Quiz body and a Category for your new questions. 
2. When in the Editing Quiz menu click on Import.
3. Select the category you created to import the questions into (see page 2).
4. Under File Format, select Blackboard.
5. Click Browse and select the file DAT file you unzipped.
6. Click on Upload this file.
7. Now your questions are added in your Category and you can add them to your quiz body.
