Making Announcments

The News forum is a generic forum, which is automatically added to each course. It’s an ideal means for generic course communication. You can use the news forum to post announcements for your students.

Posting a News Announcement

  1. Click the Turn editing on button.  #1
  2. In the Latest News block, click on “Add a new topic…”  #2
  3. Type in a Subject for your announcement.  #3
  4. Type in your announcement in the Message box.
  5. Select Mail Now
  6. Click on Post to Forum
