Instructional Design |
Our four educational technology professionals are dedicated to support faculty in the design of technology-enhanced
curriculum. We collaborate with faculty and staff to apply sound pedagogical principles to the instructional process.
Services related to instructional design and development include:
- Production of creative and effective instructional solutions, applying knowledge of learner characteristics,
delivery methods, evaluation approaches and procedures, as well as established instructional theories and principles.
- Applying front-end analysis including needs assessments, task analysis, content analysis, and learner analysis.
- Providing a thorough consultation for designing instructional materials for classroom, online, or blended teaching.
- Locating and assessing existing educational materials such as learning objects to meet specific instructional goals
in the classroom or online.
- Assisting in the selection and integration of multimedia instructional content such as images, audio, and video files.
- Providing recommendations for interface design, sequencing of instruction, use of assessments.
- Administering graphic and digital media production.
- Training to facilitate online community and discussions groups.
