their creator to be used by other educators and can include any topic and teaching level. Here is an introduction to learning object repositories.
Many repositories include a mechanism for peer review of all submitted content. Usage is often free of copyright regulations, any restrictions that apply are usually stated on the content site. It is worth searching such repositories for existing material relevant to your teaching before starting a time consuming endeavor to create your own. It takes time and patience to find material pertaining to your instruction, however, you may be able to avoid re-inventing the wheel.
