Adelphi University has subscribed to Turnitin.com, a widely used plagiarism detection system which runs submitted papers against content of the world wide web, journal article databases and a large database of students papers. LiveText

College LiveText is a suite of web-based tools that allow colleges and universities to develop, manage, and assess program and student achievements. The Ruth S. Ammon School of Education uses this application as a flexible professional portfolio solution for their students. The FCPE provides group and one-on-one workshops for faculty on LiveText. SNAP Survey Software

Snap Survey Software is a Windows-based program for questionnaire design, publishing, data collection and analysis. Snap supports survey modes such as; Web, E-mail and Paper. Data can be viewed in Snap, SPSS, Excel and most other data analysis programs.

StudyMate
StudyMate is an authoring tool used to create games and Flash-based study aides using pre-made templates. Existing content from Respondus, MS Word, Rich-text, IMS QTI, and other formats can be imported. These activities can be viewed with any web-browser via a web site or through Blackboard according to the instructor's preference.

In order to download StudyMate, you will first need to log in to Moodle Course Management system. Go to http://moodle.adelphi.edu or log in to eCampus and launch Moodle. After logging into Moodle, go to Course Categories. Click on AU Administrative in the course categories menu on the right. Click on StudyMate to enroll as a student in the StudyMate course. Now you can download StudyMate.

Respondus
Respondus is a tool for creating and managing online exams, these can be printed and/or imported into Moodle, completed exam grades will by viewed in Moodle ’s grade book. Exams created in a word processor can be imported into Respondus. Test banks can be imported from text book publishers of required course readings. With Respondus, exams and assessments can be created offline using a Windows interface.
