Student Response System: Clickers

Clickers allow students to participate in presentations and lectures by submitting responses to questions using a Response Card/Remote. This provides faculty with instant student feedback which can be used as a basis for discussion as formative feedback as well as for summative evaluation.

Adelphi University has TurningPoint, a widely-used student response system, installed on all classroom computers. To use TurningPoint in your classes you will need an account, which you can request by emailing A set of response cards/remotes can then be rented from the IT Help Desk.
